Skysong Mural Project

30 ‘ - Exterior Mural - Skysong - Scottsdale, AZ
For the Skysong Mural Project, I created two murals on North and South-facing walls titled “Warm Retreat” (Southern wall), and “Cooling, Leaving” (Northern wall) that demonstrate hummingbird migration from their cool, Northern breeding grounds to their warm winter retreat in the Desert Southwest. The South wall illustrates the different day-parts across the landscape with design emphasis on the Ocotillo, the most dependable food source for the birds during their Northern migration. “Cooling, Leaving” contains a depiction of cool-colored mountains hinting at the end of summer complimented with a chronophotographic arrangement of hummingbird flight suggesting the solo travels of this tiny bird.
Sonoran Prevention Works
25’ Interior Mural - Private Commission - Phoenix, AZ
Created for Sonoran Prevention Works, an organization that distributes Naloxone to reverse opioid overdoses and centers harm reduction in the state of Arizona. I juxtaposed plant forms alongside the image of a syringe, creating commentary that the life-saving function of the organization is inherent of the ‘landscape’ of healing. This interior mural honors the labor of frontline harm-reduction workers, softens the clinical environment through color and organic form, and signals to visitors that they are entering a space grounded in care, dignity, and active support rather than judgment.
Ghost Bloom
18’ Exterior Mural - Private Commission - Phoenix, AZ
This commission was completed for a client that wanted to memorialize the grand bloom of their Ghost agave plant. The core image is of a bird’s eye view of the succulent in bloom. The client wanted copper and a sun to be incorporated into the design to root it in the 5 C’s of Arizona.
Harter Park Mural

The City of Chandler was seeking an artist who would make a mural that was representative of the community it would reside in; as a child I spent much of my time at city parks around the valley and was thrilled to be selected for this opportunity. I organized a public engagement event at the conclusion of the commission that brought the community of Harter Park together to paint terra cotta pots with the leftover paint from the mural and plant seeds together with the parkgoers. The Harter Park Mural captured different day parts of the sonoran landscape; as you walked the length of the 80’ wall, you started at a nighttime desert scene and the imagery slowly changed from sunrise, to early afternoon, to midday to sunset all in the same mural.
Wetta Ventures Project
75’ Exterior Mural - Bitters Cocktail Bar & Food - Scottsdale, AZ
This mural embodies the hyper-local ingredient-initiative of the bars & restaurants of this location with a nod to the Desert Southwest. The mural runs the length of a restaurant, providing a bold back-drop to the bar and draws customers across the plaza to the cozy patio with its eye-catching colors. It features indigenous crops of Arizona, rays of sunshine, metallic copper and a large cactus garden.
